Covid-19

If you find out you have Covid-19 and have hired equipment, please contact us immediately.

Sound Exposure

Loud music over 70 dB can cause hearing damage and exposure to levels of 120 dB or greater can cause immediate hearing damage. Please consider what level you listen to music at when using hired equipment. BGP will not accept responsibility for improper use of equipment and any hearing damage caused.

Noise Complaints

As many houses have shared walls, please keep in mind what volume you are listening to music. Noise complaints reported to the local council by residents can result in contact with your university by the council. BGP will not accept responsibility for customers’ fines and noise complaints raised by using supplied equipment.

Damage to Equipment, Property and Theft

Equipment damage must be reported immediately and on return of equipment. Charges will be applied immediately for any damage not reported. Equipment is delivered in clean and safe working condition and must be returned in the condition in which it arrived.

When hiring equipment, please do not leave it unattended outside of the property and take appropriate cautions to ensure equipment is used and stored safely. Any equipment not returned will be charged at a daily hire value as listed here and will be billed as such until equipment is returned or replaced at full replacement value.

Please ensure you take appropriate cautions to prevent equipment theft whilst it is on hire. For example, ensure any equipment used outside is brought inside prior to leaving the premises. Additionally, full billing and address details of the hirer are taken at the time of purchase. Full address IDs will also be collected and kept on record for the duration of any hires.
